APT proudly presents the Churchill Kitchen Project, a design by Damian Hannah from German Kitchens. The brief for this project was to extend the client's home, creating a large kitchen with a concealed scullery seamlessly integrated into the dining and outdoor entertaining areas. The challenge was to ensure functionality for a busy family with young children and frequent guests, with a focus on durability, ease of maintenance, and easy cleaning.

FENIX Nero Ingo emerged as the ideal solution, aligning with the project's vision. As a next-generation material, FENIX boasts durability, anti-fingerprint, and thermal healing properties, making it perfect for a high-traffic kitchen. Its ability to withstand the enthusiasm of young children, coupled with ease of cleaning, contributed to its suitability for the project. The low light reflectivity of FENIX allowed us to absorb the all-day sun's light, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere in the open kitchen.

The use of large FENIX sheets, enabled the creation of a single tall door for appliance integration, reaching a height of almost 2.4m without compromising aesthetics. The cost-effectiveness of using offcuts for additional full-sized doors added value for the client. In harmony with textural elements like timber floors, benchtops, and splashbacks, FENIX complemented the depth without distracting or competing.

The unique light-absorbing and matte finish qualities of FENIX allowed other design elements to shine. Despite the large coverage, the overall finish exceeded expectations, showcasing FENIX as an excellent material when paired with textural components. The client is thrilled with the results, and FENIX has proven its resilience against the daily tests posed by the homeowners, making the Churchill Kitchen Project a testament to the versatility and durability of FENIX Nero Ingo.
